Change of Seasons

One glance outside my window and the signs of change are evident: blooms withering, limbs bare, leaves fallen, colors shifting, the light waning.

I recognize, this change I can not impact.

But what can I do? I can appreciate it with a grateful heart. I can turn my thoughts toward the good in it. I can embrace the joys of the golden light. I can choose to envision brighter days.

Despite all that is no longer, there is still so much beauty right here.
