Nature’s Gift
When I consider the gifts of nature, it brings me to the earth. In the act of lowering, immersing myself in the light and wonder of growth and bloom. I am both grounded and invigorated. I am reminded of what once was dormant, springing to life. Of what was covered, revealed. Of what was working under the surface that arises in its time.
I recently taught a Live Webinar on creative techniques for close up images. Each time I teach, I learn and am energized to practice and create. I spent a pleasant 20 minutes laying on the ground in my parents’ backyard with these life-giving flowers - one of the first to make an appearance this year. A true gift.
